To let all of our wonderful pupils and families know how much we are missing and thinking of them, we made this… We hope it makes you smile! #teamgentleshaw #staysafe
taking care of your family’s wellbeing
During this unusual and scary time, we are all spending much more time at home, possibly without the support of extended family and friends along with other pressures and worries including finances, working from home ourselves as well as home schooling children. With this, we understand that families may be struggling with their mental health and finding it difficult to care for their wellbeing, both adults and children included.
To support our families we have added some helpful resources linked to caring for yours and your families wellbeing. These resources range from websites, activities to try out, stories and tips on coping in isolation as well as talking to your children about the coronavirus and life during this present time. Please have a look through, we hope that you find them supportive. Remember, we are here for you during this time and as well as contacting us through our Facebook learning groups, you can email us directly finding teachers email addresses under ‘The Academy‘ | ‘Staff Emails’.
Take care and stay safe
